The company provides a complete end-to-end service, including client consultation, site measurement, project planning, supplier coordination, delivery management, and on-site installation. Our projects are delivered across residential properties, retail premises, and commercial spaces throughout London and surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth and increasing project demand, we are seeking an experienced Interior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple bespoke furniture and interior fit-out projects.
Role Overview
The Interior Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from initial client consultation through to final installation. The role requires strong project management, planning, supplier coordination, client relationship management, and operational oversight skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bespoke furniture and interior fit-out projects from enquiry to completion. Conduct client meetings, site visits, and project assessments.
- Review measurements, design requirements, and customer specifications.
- Prepare project schedules and coordinate installation timelines.
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, delivery providers, and installation teams.
- Monitor project budgets, material requirements, and procurement activities.
- Ensure all materials are ordered and delivered according to project schedules.
- Coordinate multiple residential and commercial projects simultaneously.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality standards.
- Resolve project-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and operational records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
- Support business growth by identifying operational improvements and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Business Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of project planning, procurement, budgeting, and resource management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable Skills
- PRINCE2, PMP, APM, or equivalent project management qualification.
- Experience within bespoke furniture, joinery, carpentry, or interior fit-out industries.
- Knowledge of supplier and subcontractor management.
- Experience managing residential and commercial interior projects.
- Understanding of UK Health and Safety regulations.
